The Team

Us

Jéremie Cortial and Roman Miletitch are the left and right arms of Papertronics, aiming to find more natural and physical (who said carnal?) ways to interact with new technologies. Pigments on canvas was used by cavemen, so it felt good enough for us. Felt pen, paint or coloured dot stickers on papers, coloured food syrup on thin white waffle, graff on a wall, body paint on bodies... draw by any means necessary, and grant your drawing life by pressing the magical SCAN button. What was static becomes dynamic, alive. A whole new world of messy interactions opens up. We're the welcoming committee.

Him & Me

Jeremie
Jeremie Cortial: His work is characterised by a very direct and fun visual aspect, that includes a collection of inventions and items between art, design, videogames, cooking or DIY experiments, all based on a profusion of drawings and sketches.

Roman
Roman Miletitch: PhD student at IRIDIA (Belgium) in artificial intelligence, Roman works in parallel as a technological artist. Highly interested in the writing of code as a creative process, he enjoys everyday the liberty that emerges when a programming language is seen as any other language. After working on gesture and its visualisation, he now explores new kinds of interaction. Always eager to work on new projects, don't hesitate to send a message!
